Creating openness.
Before the renovation, the home was finely partitioned and light did not reach the back. So we boldly reduced the partitions and reconfigured it into one connected space.
We arranged the window positions and secured a path for the breeze. Morning light reaches the entrance, and in the evening a pleasant wind flows through. It feels as though the home itself is breathing.
Openness is not simply about being spacious. As light and air pass through, the home comes alive. It became a bright home where the family naturally gathers.
