Not hiding the materials.
The ceiling is deliberately left as exposed structure, with ducts and piping shown as part of the design. Rather than concealing and smoothing over, we drew out the raw power of the materials themselves — the idea we held to throughout this home.
Rugged stainless steel for the kitchen, deep-gloss black tile for the walls. Composed of hard materials, yet hanging greenery and a wooden table hold on to the warmth of daily life.
It does not age with time — if anything, it gains character. A home built from strong materials that settle in the more it is lived in and carried forward.
