A disused row house, turned into a stay that welcomes guests.
An old row house clad in blue tin. Long unused, this building was not demolished but carried on as a stay — that is where the project began. Our first task was the change of use from residence to lodging. We checked the requirements of the Building Standards Act and the Inns and Hotels Act one by one, advancing the design from a careful judgment of feasibility.
Inside, we rethought the layout into a space where guests can stay in the whole house. Herringbone floors and black-framed fittings tighten the look, reweaving it into a natural-modern stay where the warmth of an old building meets modern refinement.
From the change-of-use procedures through design and construction, we handled everything end to end. A disused building found a new role — a place to welcome those who travel.
